Shakshuka with salmon & spinach

Recipe - ingredients

  • 1/2 tsp cumin seed
  • 1/2 tsp coriander seed
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tsp. harissa
  • 1 garlic glove
  • 3 oz spinach
  • 2 eggs
  • 4 tbsp cream
  • 3 oz hot smoked salmon
  • 5 cherry tomatoes
  • 1,8 oz goat cheese
  • dill
  • salt & pepper

Recipe - how do you make it

Recipe - steps

  • 1 Crush the cumin seed, coriander seed and mix it with a bit of nutmeg.
  • 2 Set the temperature of the frying pan on medium heat and add the spices. Add one tsp. of harissa
  • 3 Put a garlic glove on a fork. Mix with this fork the spinach in the mix of harissa and spices. Add a little bit of water.
  • 4 Add the egg whites to the pan. Give this a mix with a good splash of cream. Discard the garlic and use a spatula to mix.
  • 5 Cut the salmon into cubes and place it in the shakshuka. Halve the cherry tomatoes and add to the pan. Then add the goat cheese. Add some pepper and a tiny bit of salt.
  • 6 Make two holes and place the egg yolk in the holes. Put the lid on the pan for about three minutes.
  • 7 Meanwhile chop some dill and add to finish the dish.
