Recipe - ingredients

  • TARTARE
  • 1 can of Sea Tales sardines
  • 5 sun-dried tomatoes, finely chopped
  • handful of black olives, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp capers, finely chopped
  • handful of basil, finely chopped, plus extra for garnish
  • juice of 1/2 lemon
  • pepper
  • salt
  • olive oil
  • SALAD
  • 1 red tomato, remove seeds, coarsely sliced
  • 1 green tomato, remove seeds, coarsely sliced
  • 1 yellow tomato, remove seeds, coarsely sliced
  • olive oil
  • red wine vinegar
  • salt
  • 1,5 oz soft goat cheese

Recipe - how do you make it

Recipe - steps

  • 1 Mash the sardines with a fork and mix with the capers, sun-dried tomatoes, olives and some chopped basil leaves to make a tartar. Finally, add the lemon juice, olive oil and a pinch of salt and pepper. Mix well. Set aside.
  • 2 For the salad, mix together the tomatoes, olive oil, red wine vinegar and a pinch of salt.
  • 3 Divide the salad among plates. Place two tablespoons of tartar on top of the salad. Crumble the goat cheese over the tartare. Garnish with a pinch of black pepper, olive oil and basil. Enjoy!
